Dear Parents and students,

I welcome you to our Elementary School! For our new students and their parents, there is much anticipation about your new school, your teachers and classmates. For our returning students and parents, there is a familiar routine and confidence in knowing what to expect, and which friends to meet. Either way, we are all excited to start a fresh, new school year! Together, we, administrators, teachers, parents and students will travel on the road of knowledge, embark on a journey of discovery, and explore new horizons of learning.

As life-long learners, each one of us has something to contribute to CIC and something to learn from it. Our unique life experiences, cultural roots, multiple intelligences, artistic gifts and athletic talents, – all will be put to good use and be challenged to the next level.

As an IB world school, we have been working very hard to ensure that all our students have the best teachers, resources and services available to support the quality international education they deserve.

On August 10th, I encourage you to enter the school doors with high expectations of yourself for serious studying, personal growth, new friendships, and full participation in school events and many fun activities.
