The Hague International Model United Nations

CIC annually sponsors a Model United Nations team that is to participate in the annual Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) conference in Holland held each January. The team is selected based on academic excellence, experience and leadership demonstrated in the school's various MUN programs and activities as well as other important contributions in extracurricular areas.

This past January 27 - February 1, 2008 the CIC Model United Nations team participated once again in the annual Hague International Model United Nations (THIMUN) conference in Holland. The CIC student delegation represented the UNHCR, the specialized agency responsible for the security and care of refugees worldwide.  In our spare time we toured The Hague and nearby towns, visited Amsterdam and viewed the awesome art collections housed in the Escher and van Gogh Museums.   Congratulations to our CIC team on its outstanding representation of the school and the UNHCR.
