I Feel Like Dancin’ Dancin’!
Delegates capped a day of hard work by a night of enthusiastic dancing. Participants came from all schools. The party provided a wonderful opportunity to enjoy new friends in a decidedly-different ambience than the one of the daytime activities.
The night was perfect for an outside party, and the CIC’s canteen served as a disco for the roughly two hundred people who were ready to rock. There were tables all around where you could eat and drink. Those who were not dancing sat at the tables with friends, chatting, laughing, and generally having a good time.
People danced to the rhythm of music popular in Venezuela: reggaton, salsa, and merengue. But the DJ also played Brazilian music and rock-and-roll, both of which were big hits, especially with the girls.
Great dancers commanded the attention of everybody. In the picture below, you will see exactly what we mean.

The Best Dancers: Ashley from 8th grade and Kahu from 6th grade
Here are some couples who had a great time together at the party, dancing or chatting.

All enjoyed the party, but it ended early so that all the participants in JMUN could prepare for the serious work of debating the resolutions on Day Two.
