Welcome to CIC’s Library!
The CIC School Library is a cozy and comfortable place where students can explore the wonders of reading! We currently have more than 29.991 volumes as well as books on tape, videotapes and magazines.
Our Library has two sections:
Elementary School Library:
Library Classes
Starting with pre-Kinder, all classes come into the library once a week for 45 minutes (pre-K comes twice a week for 30 minutes). Please check our schedule to see on what day your child has library. During their class, students learn a new library skill and/or are read a new story before they check out their books.
Opening Hours of Library
Our hours are from 7:30 to 3:30 Monday to Thursday and from 7:30 to 3:00 on Friday. Students are also welcome to use the library during their morning recess or lunch break.
Check-out Policy

- Each student, Kinder and above, is allowed to check out two books and one magazine weekly.
- Each student will be responsible for returning all library materials on the day of their next library class (although renewals are possible).
- ESL students will be able to check out four books (two for ESL class and two for homeroom class).
- Big books and books with tapes can be checked out by teachers and parents.
- Parents can check out books for two weeks.
- There will be a charge for any lost library item, assessed at the end of the school year or when the child leaves the school.
