School Closing

Procedures

We will follow these procedures in the event that it becomes necessary to close school.

  • We will not have school if the Venezuelan government mandates that schools be closed.
  • We will give notice of school closing as early as we can by placing relevant information on the homepage of the school’s website. Additional information will be placed in this section of the website.
  • Faculty will attempt to call students using the CIC phone tree.
    • If you move or change your email address and/or phone number, please contact the school by email or phone (945-0444) so that we can keep our records up-to-date.
    • Parents of Elementary School students should contact Alicia Macario.
    • Secondary School parents should contact Ana María Sookermany.
  • If you do not have access to the Internet, you can telephone your child’s teacher (Elementary School, Pre-Nursery – Grade 5) or advisor (Secondary School, Grades 6 – 12).

Homework

Teachers will post homework on their class websites. Students are expected to keep up with the website for each course in which they are enrolled.

If Internet access is unavailable, you should telephone your child’s teachers to get homework assignments.
