Here we have Tome Sweeting (MUN Director) with Kento and Marianna, two of our delegate team at the 2004 THIMUN event holding our delegation placard: Nauru!

 

 

 

 

Some of the team wait at the tram stop for their ride to the conference on a cold, damp, early morning in The Hague. We can see from left to right; Eugenia, Katie, Celeste, Christine, Marianna, Kento and Naoki.

 

 

 

Here the team relax in the warmth of the hotle bar. Each day we would have a team meeting to discuss activites and our successes of the day at the conference.

 

 

 

 

Here we are outside the hotel (The Royal Dutch Lion) en route to register for the conference. As you can see by our attire it is a lot colder than Venezuela!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Whilst in Holland we also took the opportrunity to visit many other places of interest around the Hague. here we are in Delft. We are all leaning to match the clock tower in the background!

 

 

 

 

As you can see the weather changed dramatiically during our stay. here the snow covers the ground at the same location in Delft.

 

 

 

 

Another interesting trip was to the Escher museum in The Hague. Here we see Kento and Joakim challenging our perspectives in one of the interactive exhibits.

 

 

 

 

Here we see the 2003 thimun team at the Hague central station tram stop on our way to an evening of snow boarding. Faces from the past include Michelle, Hagger, Yoshi, Walter, Nico, Jackie, Frits, Kyle and Nelson with Mr Mike in the centre.

 

 

 

Here is the spectacular THIMUn closing ceremony. It is a great event to celebrate 5 days hard work by the delegates.
