The fifth grade is an important year in educational growth of children. Throughout this year children prepare for the transition from elementary to middle school life. It is also during this time that children evolve from concrete to abstract thinkers and socially become more independent. At CIC, we make this change successful by educating the whole child as an individual, a student, and a citizen. The children learn by doing, actively involving them in the learning process. In fifth grade, we are not afraid to take risks and learn from our mistakes.
