The Music program at CIC is integrated and aligned PN-12. Students who matriculate through CIC begin with basic music perception skills, then acquire music appreciation skills, then grow through music performance, analysis and composition skills. At all levels, students learn developmentally-appropriate theoretical and historical concepts. Throughout the process and at all levels, the CIC music program inculcates in its young performing artists important life skills such as organization, responsibility, respect, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, research, and more.
