In the fourth quarter, journals will be written on loose-leaf notebook paper and turned in on the day they are written. They will be graded and handed back to students. Students must then glue each journal into their Workbook. Each journal will receive a grade for the quality of reflection. A separate grade will be given at the end of the quarter for organization of the Workbook.
Your Workbook must be turned in to Mr. Stewart by FRIDAY, MAY 26.
All journals, concert critiques, class notes and written homework assignments must be glued into your black sketchbook (Band Workbook). The classwork and homework in your Workbook make up 25% of your grade so don't be late!
All playing quiz retakes must be completed by WEDNESDAY, MAY 31. You may retake playing quizzes as many times as you want before the deadline. (see Intermediate Band Syllabus for details.)
Written quizzes may NOT be retaken. If you were absent and you need to take a written quiz for the first time, you must make arrangements with Mr. Stewart to take your missing quiz by FRIDAY, MAY 26.
