Where Do I Go From Here? Senior Application Process
Applicants to U.S. Universities :
- Decide on your final list and type it up and give copy to Steve. The list should include the University name, the course you will apply to and its code, the University’s address, and contact emails (By Sept. 3, 2007, Sept. 8 ). Note: you must choose either Oxford or Cambridge, not both.
- Complete personal statement—be sure to have your rough draft checked by several people, both for content and grammar/punctuation/spelling. Remember that your statement must be well-written, compelling, clear, and concise. You must use 12-point type or larger, and only have the space given to you in the UCAS form (by Oct. 3, 2007, Sept. 17 if you are applying to Cambridge, Oxford, Medicine).
- Complete the UCAS form (By Oct. 23, 2007, Sept. 20, 2007 if you are applying to Cambridge, Oxford, or Medicine). The online version is efficient and easy to use. For complete instructions on how to complete the UCAS form, please refer to http://www.ucas.com/apply/applying_online1.pdf .
- Complete internal application for Oxford or Cambridge, if applicable. Complete mailing agreement and have it signed by parents, and hand for in to the Counseling Office (by Sept. 21, 2007).
- Provide login and credit card information to Mrs. Losada, so that she can upload your recommendation and submit your application (by Oct. 20, 2007, Sept. 20, if applying to Cambridge or Oxford).
