The 2010 edition of the annual Venezuelan Association of North American Schools Teacher Conference was held at CIC on January 21-22. Keynote speaker Jane Pollock, a CIC alumna, exhorted teachers to use the results of the latest educational research to improve the achievement of students. Teachers attended a series of workshops on various subjects related to education. Among the presenters were Andrezej and Magdelana Antczak, the award winning authors of Los Idolos de Las Islas Prometidas.
